‏GUtech Welcoming the New Rector

The German University of Technology in Oman is pleased to welcome the new Rector of the University Prof. Dr. Michael Braun.

‏Prof. Braun holds a doctorate degree in Physics from the University of Tubingen and was nominated three times for the ‘University Manager of the Year’ by DIE ZEIT.

‏Prof. Braun has extensive experience in Higher Education, and he was the president of Nuremberg Institute of Technology – Technische Hochschule Nürnberg (TH Nürnberg) for more than 14 years, and member of a number of committees, such as the Senate of the German Rector’s Conference (HRK) and Chairman of the Bavarian Association of University of Applied Sciences.
