Chris serves as the Strategic Advisor for the Company where he is part of the full-time senior management team. His responsibilities include developing sustainable technology projects with companies and government, accelerating diversification of the Sultanate’s economy into new technology sectors and delivering consulting and educational content for clients.
Chris has more than 25 years of experience in commercializing leading edge technologies and building new businesses. Prior to joining the Company, Chris was Science and Technology Advisor in the Science, Knowledge & Technology Transfer Office, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Sultanate of Oman. He has worked in the private sector, in government and in academia in the US, Asia, Europe and the Middle East. Chris’ career in technology marketing and corporate management includes senior positions with Helix Technology Corporation, Kulicke & Soffa Industries and KLA Corporation, as well as a broad consultancy background with Edgeworth, Inc. He has also served on a number of industry and corporate boards, and has lectured extensively on innovation and intellectual property.
