While Diploma and Bachelor degree graduates are eligible to apply to all GUtech Master degree programmes, admission to GUtech-WU Master of Business Administration is open to professionals who have completed a Bachelor degree and have accumulated at least three years working experience.
Each graduate programme sets its own application deadline. Applications for graduate admission is a multi-step process. We have made this process straightforward by defining three steps to complete the admission process and be ready to start classes.
There are three types of requirements applicants are expected to meet. If you meet the following requirements, you are invited to apply online.
- Academic requirements: A recognised Bachelor degree.
- Language requirements: Proof of English proficiency (e.g. TOEFL 79 internet-based test, IELTS 6.0 or equivalent). Applicants having completed their Bachelor programme in an English-speaking country are exempt.
- General requirements: Three years of relevant work experience.
We follow a three-step application process. To start the first step, you only need to upload the following documents:
- Copy of Undergraduate Transcripts
- Copy of Undergraduate Degree approved by the Ministry of Higher Education in Oman (if not issued in Oman) and the Austrian Honorary Counsel (if obtained outside the EU)
- Copy of IELTS Certificate with overall score of 6.0 or better.
- Curriculum Vitae, showing at least three years of work experience
The Master of Science in Computer Science is open to candidates with a Bachelor or a two-year Diploma from recognised institutions. If you meet the following academic and language requirements, you are invited to apply online.

- English language test equivalencies include TOEFL IBT 76, PTE 56, CAE 169, IB/IGCSE/A-Level/GCE/CBSE/ISBE Certificate

⇒ If you are a holder of a Bachelor degree, please ensure to meet the following conditions to qualify for admission:
- hold a Bachelor degree in a related field (e.g., information science, computer science, computer engineering, software engineering, mathematics,…) from an accredited college or university. The certificate has to be attested by the Ministry of Higher Education in Oman.
- have a minimum GPA of 2.5 on a scale of 4
Note: If GPA between 2.0 and 2.5, you will be required to show evidence of 2 years of relevant work experience.
⇒ If you are a holder of a two-year Diploma, please ensure to meet the following conditions to qualify for admission:
- hold a two-year Diploma in a related field (e.g., information science, computer science, computer engineering, software engineering, mathematics,…) from an accredited college or university. The certificate has to be attested by the Ministry of Higher Education in Oman.
- be at least 25 years of age
- have a minimum of 6-years of work experience
- have a minimum GPA of 2.5 on a scale of 4

Admission into GUtech’s Master of Science in Applied Geosciences is open for Bachelor degree and two-year Diploma graduates. If you meet our academic and language requirements, you are invited to apply online.
