In alignment with Oman Vision 2040 and the national goal for sustainability and innovation, GUtech has committed to promoting renewable and clean energy solutions beyond the university campus. Through its partnership with OQ-GN, GUtech has launched a pioneering 3D-printed hydrogen-powered building project that serves as a public demonstration of sustainable energy innovation.
As part of this initiative, GUtech pledges to support and advocate for the transition toward 100% renewable energy within the built environment, integrating solar and hydrogen technologies to achieve a fully renewable energy supply for its pilot projects. The university also actively encourages other institutions and industries in Oman to adopt similar clean energy practices, reinforcing its role as a national leader in sustainable innovation and education.
