Date: Oct. 9th 2019 – 9:00 – 14:00

The Oman Hydrogen Initiative Symposium takes place on the 9th of October in Muscat, at GUtech campus. The symposium will focus on the relevance of hydrogen based production, storage, distribution and application solutions for Oman. This includes global hydrogen trends and developments leading to significant export opportunities to satisfy the growing international demand for this important energy carrier. The Initiative will present the initial results of the Initiative’s work and proposals for action. Leading Oman and international representatives from governments, industry and science have been invited.

The Symposium is organised by Oman Hydrogen Initiative. The initiative was launched in 2018 by the German University of Technology in Oman (“GUtech”) and Hydrogen Rise AG, a developer and operator of complete hydrogen economy systems.

The Initiative aims to demonstrate the emerging role of hydrogen produced with renewable energy – “green hydrogen”- in the global energy transition and specifically in Oman.
