Today, 9th of April, the German University of Technology in Oman (GUtech) had the honour of welcoming a high-ranking delegation from the Ministry for the Environment, Climate and Energy Sector of the State of Baden-Württemberg, Germany. The delegation, led by H.E. Thekla Walker, Minister for the Environment, Climate and Energy, was received by Professor Dr. Michael Braun, Rector of GUtech, as part of the Minister’s official visit to the Sultanate of Oman.
The visit provided an opportunity to strengthen cooperation in areas such as hydrogen technologies, climate protection, building technologies renewable energies and sustainable development. The delegation included senior representatives from government, academia, and industry, reflecting a shared commitment to innovation and international collaboration in the energy transition.
