GUtech Researchers Present at EGU 2025 in Vienna

From April 26 to May 2, more than 18,000 scientists from around the world convened in Vienna for the annual European Geosciences Union (EGU) General Assembly, one of the largest and most influential conferences in the geosciences. Representing GUtech were Dr. Markus Gurk (Geophysics), Dr. Heninjara Rarivoarison (Mineralogy), and Prof. Dr. Wilfried Bauer (Rectorate), who contributed to discussions and presentations on cutting-edge developments in the field.
The assembly offered a dynamic platform for GUtech researchers to share their latest findings, engage with leading experts, and explore emerging trends in carbon capture and storage, ground geophysics, and mineral deposits. Their participation not only showcased GUtech’s growing research capabilities but also reinforced valuable international collaborations and academic partnerships.
