On 26 October, GUtech hosted an engaging and free Master Class in collaboration with Siemens, led by Salim Mirza, Performance Assurance Lead, and Satheeshkumar Palaniappan, Performance Assurance Lead at Siemens Industrial.
The session brought together students, alumni, and academic staff to explore GUtech’s energy-saving journey through Siemens’ Demand Flow technology, which optimizes the chiller plant and HVAC systems for improved efficiency. The class highlighted key areas of energy consumption on campus and showcased the steps taken to reduce them. Through interactive discussions and problem-solving activities, participants shared insights and suggestions for further improvements—bridging theory with real-world applications in sustainable energy management
