AspenTech HYSYS Certification marks a significant academic milestone for students of the Process Engineering programme at the German University of Technology in Oman (GUtech). Seventy percent of final-year Process Engineering students have successfully earned the AspenTech HYSYS Academic User Certificate, reflecting a high level of academic competence and technical proficiency.
The certification examination was offered as part of GUtech’s strategic collaboration with the AspenTech Academic Programme, reinforcing the university’s commitment to integrating internationally recognized industrial tools into its academic curricula. The achievement was attained within the Simulation Techniques course, delivered by Professor Dr. Eng. Najah Al Mhanna, which emphasizes advanced process simulation and applied engineering analysis.
Earning the AspenTech HYSYS Certification enhances students’ academic and professional profiles by equipping them with industry-relevant simulation skills widely used in the energy and process industries.
