Engineering Students Gain Industry Insight During Visit to Sohar Aluminum

On 1 July 2025, students from the Department of Engineering at the German University of Technology in Oman (GUtech), accompanied by Dr. Najah Al Mhanna, visited Sohar Aluminum as part of the university’s commitment to enhancing students’ practical and academic knowledge. This visit provided the students with valuable first hand exposure to the industrial work environment, aluminum production processes, safety standards, and sustainability practices implemented at one of the Sultanate’s leading industrial facilities.
