GUtech Students Partner with bp Oman on AI and Sustainable Engineering Project

We’re proud to partner with bp Oman to give our students hands-on experience tackling real industry challenges.

Computer Science students are developing an AI system to support drilling decisions, focusing on efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and cybersecurity, under the supervision of Eng. Ali Al-Humairi, Dr. Nesrine Ouled Abdallah, and Dr. Abdelaziz Amara.

Meanwhile, nine Engineering students completed final-year projects on CO₂ capture, gas compressor performance, fluid reuse, and water treatment optimization, supervised by Prof. Dr. Eng. Najah Al Mhanna and co-supervised by bp engineers and project managers.
