OPAL Team Visit to OITS Strengthens Collaboration in Vocational Training and Capacity Building

We were pleased to welcome the OPAL team to the Oman Institute for Training Services (OITS) for a productive visit focused on potential collaboration in vocational training, including the Vocational Path (Grades 11–12), Vocational Diploma, and capacity-building programs across energy, engineering, construction, and semiconductors. The discussion also covered our ongoing joint initiatives, including:

•  Uniquely Abled Academy (UAA)
• CNC Assessment Centre
•  Mechatronics NOS mapping and approval
•  Solar and Hydrogen capacity building programs.

The visit included tours of labs and workshops, with recommendations to explore production-focused collaborations with STS. Together, we’re shaping impactful partnerships that strengthen national skills and advance Oman Vision 2040.
