The Building Technology and Standardization Center at the German University of Technology in Oman (GUtech) hosted LC3 Day Oman, bringing together leading global experts in low-carbon cement technologies. We were pleased to welcome distinguished speakers: Professor Karen Scrivener from EPFL in Switzerland, Professor Soumen Bishnoi from IIT Delhi in India, Professor Fernando Martirena from CIDEM in Cuba, Professor Kemal Celik from NYU Abu Dhabi in the UAE, Dr. Hilal Al Dhamri from the Middle East Calcined Clay Company in Oman, and Professor Eric Bescher from UCLA in the United States.
By organizing this event, GUtech continues to advance research and innovation in building technology while fostering international dialogue that supports the transition to more sustainable construction practices. We look forward to further collaboration as we work toward a greener future
